Gamestart 2014 was really a blast for IMBA Interactive. This was the first time IMBA Interactive interacted (haha) with consumers visiting a B2B game convention. Talking to different people at the convention reminded us of our original love which was bringing game sound and music to consumers. And yes, it’s awesome to be able to be part of Singapore’s very own game convention promoting indie game developers and educating people on game audio. DING! Achievement unlocked (that’s what it felt like)!

You guys might have noticed our friendly mascot lingering about our Facebook page and the main site. Meet Rex, the boisterous yet adorable new mascot for IMBA designed by the talented Johel Rivera (who also did our main animation and character designs by the way!). We think Johel did a fantastic job at capturing the expression and gestures of Rex from try-hard fierce to kooky!

A huge thank you to those who made it down to celebrate out 1 year anniversary with us! We wouldn’t progressed this far without sound advice, relentless support and friendship from all of you. We hope you’ve enjoyed yourselves with the IMBA jukebox which played OSTs from your favourite games, the food and most importantly, the company of great people. Onwards to a better, more inclusive game industry!
